I was going through the top new games recently and I found one of these slot machine games. At first I thought it was some rather dodgy stuff… but as part of increasing our coverage of the Cards and Casino category… I selflessly sacrificed myself to check out the details of this game. To be honest I initially just felt it was a cheap gimmick… take a slot machine game, slap picture rewards in and then put an in app purchasing system. However, after going through a few spins I suddenly realised that there may be more to this game.
Gameplay: It’s a five drum slot machine game, and you play slots… very much like Farm Slot. You can bet on multiple lines and you can choose your stake per line. Classic slot rules apply so you look from left to right, for particular line patterns (these are highlighted when you select the lines). Initially you can have 1 to 9 lines, and later you are awarded with up to about 25 lines. Your stake per line can vary between 0.1 and 900. However, your total bet amount is capped out depending on your gold coin balance.
Now here’s a key point where you need to be careful – there are gold coins, as well as a balance, but its not entirely obvious. The gold coins let you bet… but I actually don’t have the foggiest about what the balance is all about! I know I have 40k there but it seems to have no beneficial effects whatsoever! (The gold coins is next to the “Buy Coins” button.
Special game parts: As you spin and bet, you accumulate some sort of level points – these will slowly unlock pictures for you. Aside from this there’s a bonus game which gives more gold coins… this in turn will let you continue playing. Overall the game spinning sessions are very fast, the vector graphics are clean and the musical sounds are ok at first. The sound of spinning will get repetitive after a while though, so you may want to listen to your own tracks of music.
Ok ok I probably put the most critical detail about this game in one line… yes – you unlock pictures… rather risqué pics… I think this is called gravure in Japan. To my knowledge there’s no nudity, but obviously you should be mature about this and avoid these games if you’re sensitive to these issues. Anyway, caveat aside, as I played this game I suddenly realised that this slot game had a lot more purpose than something like Farm Slot. It’s clearly not graphically cool, or skill based like Robotek, but it can be a more purposeful training tool for slot machines. If you’re learning about them, and trying to control your stake and betting methods, then why not play this game?
As a greater social level thought, I wonder if a slot machine game with male pics would get as many downloads?… and would men or women download that game more??
Rating: 2/5 A great way of learning about slot machines and how to gamble with them. Definitely better than Farm Slot in my opinion. If you’re a hot blooded male who is curious about these games, then you would want to check out some of the QR codes below. A word of warning: apparently, the odds will become quite skewed as you get to the high levels – I would recommend you just stop playing the game at that point so you don’t get annoyed.
